One beep on power down

    I have started to notice one beep when I turn off the car. This doesn't happen all the time, but it appears to be happening more often. There are no unusual displays and the car runs fine. Has anyone else noticed this?

    Do you, by any chance, have your cellphone plugged in, in the car?

    Mine beeps when the power is cut - which happens when the car is turned off.

    Just a thought...

    Yes, a weak fob battery has this symptom.

    Does the package #4 have a sunroof? Mine beeps when the sunroof is open and I power down the Prius...

    Definitely replace the key fob battery ... been there, done that.

    Thanks for all the input. I don't have a cellphone plugged in and no sun roof. I will check out the fob battery.
