This is what the rear garnish looks like from Sigma Automotive. Wish it was stocked by US dealerships, as the shipping was expensive. But I think it dresses up the rear of the car. Oh, if you haven't seen this car before here; the 4x4 is a joke along with the dual exhaust to keep them guessing.
It's OEM, just not available in the US. Available in Japan, and you can order in UK. Like the HUD, is available in Europe but not the US. Not sure why.
JDM accessory. There are a few threads on JDM accessories from last year. A few cool things Wide View Monitor to see traffic as you pull out from a side street with restricted vision (like the HS250h) wallet-size smart key in black, white or pink AroundView type system with side cameras to allow a "top down" look of the vehicle Additional interior illumination (door handles and front door pockets) that 4x4 emblem looks like it's off a Dodge Nitro.
It's a joke, I have a twisted sense of humor. Many have wondered when Toyota started producing a 4X4 Prius. And it's from a Tundra.
Like the trim piece, do you have the part # for it, and the part # and supplier for the twin tail pipe piece?
The rear trim came from Sigma Automotive it is JDM here is the link: http://www.sigmaautomotive.com/jdm/prius_zvw30/zvw30_ext.php open the center top box and use the pull down to #4 Rear Garnish $199. It's shipped from Japan and all the instructions are in Japanese. The dual exhaust is just a bolt on I found on Ebay under 2010 Prius exhaust tip.
I am thinking about getting this full trim chrome package, but am unsure of how the lower rocker chromes will look on a black Prius. I really like the front grill chrome insert and the rear bumper chrome protector, but just not sure about the "pilot's wings" on the back or the lower rocker moldings. I am worried if I were to just get the chrome inserts for the front and back (grill ... pilot's wings ... and bumper protector) it would look unbalanced without the lower rockers. For some reason the lower rockers on the black Prius feels like a bit much ... or like there's too much metal looking along the bottom of the car (in line with the rims). Thoughts?
