just got the v wheels and was curious if anyone was installed a 10mm or 20mm spacer on the rear (only).
I thought about putting some 5mm spacers, eliminating the need to extended studs, and still providing some tuck. The Prius suspension rebound is not one to write home about, so if I were to install the spacers, I would go conservative to prevent possible rubbing.
@ Bagwell. I forgot that Ichiba made a V2 10mm spacer. Only thing is, you'll need to file down the studs if you use wheels with flat faced rears.
With V wheels, you probably won't have an issue. My friend is running BBS Impuls and he can't use the V2 spacers because the rear of his wheel is flat. Easiest way to make sure is to take you wheel on and look to see if they're flat or if there's room for the OEM stud to stick out a bit into the wheel area.
Unfortunately the spacers that have the studs already in them are 25mm spacers (1") and they push the V wheels out too far. I'm running 15mm spacers all around and it looks good because it's really flush with the fenders when you look at it. If I went with 20mm, it would be pushing it, especially on a Prius that isn't lowered (if it was, then it would look better). It's also more aggresive looking from behind and when you drive up onto it in my blind spot (rear 3/4 view). I posted pictures about 4-5 months ago, but I'll try to remember and take some more this weekend.
^^ Actually, I believe Ichiba makes a 10mm V2 (studs built in) version. If not, I know they for sure make a 15mm because I installed them on another car recently.
