Remarks: I wish the MFD was to 100th instead of only 10th as there is about a 2mpg (US) between 3.80 and 3.89, however ..not a big deal.

Remarks: 4 tires @ 40 psi (15inch) , 98% eco and AC on auto , mostly in town with a few short runs out of town. I have been running the next tank in PWR mode just for fun to see what type of mileage I get. Will also start filling up at 2 bars for a while, wife's orders ...LOL

I would be interested to know - when people quote their refill gallons, are you filling it until it clicks off, or, is the refill amount topped off? I routinely can add another 0.5 gallons of gas after it clicks off, but one poster (on the main Prius folder) said he usually can add 2-3 gallons after the pump "clicks off".

My question goes to...if we don't believe the computer readout/MPGs, then how accurate is the amount of gas consumed...if we base that amount on an inaccurate measure of how much gas we put back into the tank at each fillup. Seems to me, that can vary with pump and methodology. We seem to assume that the amount we refill, is equal to the amount consumed. Without careful meaurments, I'm not sure that assumption is always valid.

    Miles: 2,592.1

    Gal's: 49.896

    Actual MPG: 51.950

I reset trip B after every fill up, but my computer mpg is fairly consistently optomistic with being off 2.5 to 3.5 mpg

It just seems that short fillups say uner 150 miles are more consistently accurate with the computer than say 400-500 mile trips.
    Just my opinion.

I always stop filling once the pump clicks off the first time (I slow the rate down once I get close to where I think it will click off) Also I "TRY" and fill up at the same pump if possible, last 4 or 5 tanks have been same station and pump.

It may be worth adding that I'm using 87 octane with no ethanol.

Remarks: All in PWR mode, 4 tires @ 40 psi (15inch) , and AC on auto , mostly in town with a few short runs out of town. Same pump for last 6 fill-ups and using non-ethonal gas 87 oct.

Not much of a difference in gas using pwr mode, but certainly a huge difference in the "feel" of the car.
