Nice! I bet they didn't expect it to fit! Haha

I was picking up more fireworks for our Race Club's stand. With thousands of dollars of fireworks in a semi-electric car you would think the rocket scientist (literally) that I had as my co-pilot would have been sweating. Nope, he just sat there smiling with one arm around a large box of ground blooms, and his other arm in the air keeping more boxes from flying forward between the seats. :D

After unloading the back seat area and the boxes that were on floor between out legs.

Would a dead person count as a "load" or as a passenger?

    Strapped down = load

Propped up in a seat = passenger

    Just rolling around = yuck

Haha, awesome Randall! I borrowed my dad's truck to get a 50" panasonic. I really wish I could have done the prius but it was plasma and I couldn't lay it on the side. My dad's truck is ridiculous in size, it's jacked up with huge tires and all tricked out with a motor from a semi tractor or something. However, he daily commutes in a prius. haha

Anyways the guys that loaded my t.v. were like Whoah.. overkill here. Then they were thinking of how they were going to have to lift it so darned high because of the lift kit.

That is such an uncomfortable ride, ugh. I actually had to take muscle relaxers a week after that.

Hey USBSeawolf, can you tell me where you got the decal with the pump and mileage figures? Can it be customized. After I get my phev, I would love to have something like that after I figure out what mileage I achieve.

    brad,

I got it from a seller (m750lux) on ebay back in 2006. I paid $4.26 shipped. You can probably contact the seller to see if he/she can customize something for you.

I just bought a new ebike from REI in Bellingham, WA, about 25 miles north of where I live. They assembled the bike and we thought ahead of time it had a removable front wheel. It doesn't have that removable wheel but still just barely fit inside with the back seats folded down. I need to look into a bike carrier! I'll see if I can insert a photo here from my Flickr site:

In the 2005 I did the 37" flat screen. Then a buffet, a couple of dressers, a day bed. Carried around a new toilet with the seats up and 4 adult females for a while.......your mind can wander on that one.

The 2010 has brought home this great round coffee table with stools and matching side table. Had a great trip to Az with the 6'4" SIL (front) and the 2 70# dogs in the back with the seats folded down.

Hey there! I was just wondering if maybe you knew what the dimension of the box was?? I need to pick up a large-ish dresser, and wanted to know if it was comparable to the size of your tv.
    Thanks!

After the new car smell goes away, I will fold down the rear seat and see how many Great Danes can fit back there. I only have one but I belong to a Dane owners group so I have access to a few dozen.

Weird, the guy at Best Buy advised not to transport an LCD on its side because bumps may cause the screen to crack. Lost a sale that day.

My wife and I brought home about 400lbs of bricks from HD one day. I was scared.....the way the car sagged. I thought it was really going to struggle to accelerate, but it handled itself better than I expected.

Great job with the TVs and sofas you guys!!! I love it when people are stunned by how practical this thing really is.

2 Greyhounds with the passenger side back seat folded down. They need the driver side back seat up so they can climb in (they are too lazy these days to jump up into the hatchback.

5 adults in my 2009 - one FO, a captain, 2 FA's and me. Easily 900 lbs. in an 810 lb. rated car. Um, not again. Increased braking distance to unsafe amount. Don't recommend 5 in the 2010 either, unless 3 small ones in back.
