or Prii, or whatever you call multi prius owning! I've driven more than my share of cars and I think it's down to the Prius. I know it's my decision in the end but why not ask? My HHR SS has been less than reliable and stranded us on one occasion..at home at least..... I don't tow, so I don't need something big. Drove the Venza, to big. I want/need a wagon. Don't need AWD. (I really want a Mustang but it's not practical) 90% of my driving is city. People keep trying to talk me out of it, but I just can't find a reason not to! The test will be this weekend when we drive to NYC, though I have already taken it on a long trip. Thoughts? (we have 2 kids)
I'm trying to talk my wife into trading her CR-V in on a Prius. I see nothing at all wrong with owning two of them!
If one's good, two should be better. Unless your needs would be satisfied by something with even better mileage and lower emissions...maybe electric?
I would love electric, but I don't want to be one of the first to own one. Also my house has to be upgraded from 60 amp service before I can go there. I don't really want to be a beta tester for a car! My dad has a truck, friends have SUV's.....
I already own one 300+ HP car, I need a 2nd. Who would try and talk me out of that? If some HP is good, more is better!!!! In either case a bunch of people!
I just bought a second one so hope there aren't too many reasons! I just couldn't stand driving my 13 mpg Blazer, and the thought of buying something getting less than 50 mpg was just too much. I started hating the oil companies in 1973 when I had to spend hours a day trying to find gas... it's not as good as electric only, but it is on the right track.
You won't be. You are not in one of the Leaf rollout states. If you reserve now you will get a 2012 model late next year.
What year is the CR-V I have a 2010 Prius III and a 2010 Venza AWD , we love them both................:cheer2:
We have two (although one's a 2005). It fits our current lifestyle just fine so you have to evaluate yours. Remember there's also the PHV version coming out soon esp. if your trips are < 14 miles. You can actually do short trips throughout the day, charging the Prius every time you're at home.
You already own 1 So what is the question here? If its a question of getting a leaf then i anderstand your dilemma. I m selling My second prius To get a leaf but that works for me. Does not work for everyone. Good luck on your decision
As of last Saturday we became a 2 Prius family. My wife has such good experience with her '07, that when my work related driving picked up, it seemed like a sensible choice to go with another Prius.
We have a 2008 Prius w/ nav system, keyless entry, etc. My daughter needs a car, and I have finally talked my husband into leasing a new 2010 Prius III or IV. I'm psyched! We will be taking advantage of the new deal, where Toyota matches your downpayment up to $1,000! That means we will have our car by Sept 7th! I am too spoiled with what I have in my present Prius to get anything less! It's going to be a GREAT holiday week-end for me!!
It comes down to special needs. If you just need to do more of the same, a second Prius is your answer. If you live in serious snow country, a truck or Subaru could give you a little more security in the winter. Some people want to carry large loads or tow. It all comes down to your wants and needs. As for us, we sold the old minivan and became a one Prius only family. Tom
Have a 2006 and will pick up my wife's 2010 this afternoon. We both replaced Volvo's; my v70 and her V40. No reason that I see not to own 2 Prius'.
We are a two Prius, two adult, two kid family, We have an '07 w/ 82k miles and an '09 w/ 40k miles and have never regretted it. Good luck!
OK this is a wild stretch, they will not be able to jump start each other. Get a jump battery as well.
