Obscure paint jobs?

I've seen photos of a Prius that was painted with that kind of paint that changes color depending on how you look at it.

 

I think it would be great fun this Halloween to cover the Toyota badges and have some Volt badges made. Volt sightings all over the states. People still don't know what I'm driving. Just a thought. Jerry

My daughter in law put Ivy stickers on the sides of her Prius and named it Ivy. I will look for a photo to post on Monday

 

Don't know if it is a spam site or not. It's just the site where I found the pic. I too was mildly interested, and looked at the various pics to get an idea of what I wanted to do with my own prius. I will advertise my own company....

There are certainly some options if you want your prius to gain a little attitude and differentation. You can search around and find some cool "large" car decals. Then there's paint designs with enhancements. I like painting the top black so it appears solid between the windows, maybe a satin finish? I also like the concept of lightening on a dark car (mines white ) . Then there's the cool "fire" technique, not flames per se but it looks more like fire swirling. I can imagine shades of green on the Prius. For now my Pinstripe looks good along with Prius Decals from "JuicedHybrid"....but I definately want to kick it up a notch....or two...so design time !

No . . . my camera's color balance is NOT off. It's dead on. This Prius really IS some shade of lime/yellow. Some may like it, but it's not for me. This ride is parked sometimes in down town Kalispell.

I did mine last summer, still a work in progress. I was inspired by the filete artists of Buenos Aires. Lots of smiles and thumbs-up daily. Looking like we'll sell it because it doesn't seat six, and I've got four kids suddenly (blended family).

Might be challenging to find someone to buy it! Great car. I really fell in love with it as I was painting it. Didn't like the blue, but it makes a great ground for other designs.

My five year old son is currently in LOVE with Orca Whales, in fact my family is a Pod of Orcas. Wilamina, the friendly Orca whale Prius, would look great with some white on her it would enhance the Orca look. If I was able to get some temporary stickers we'd put them on.

Is that what you used? In that case, that's a lot of decals to make sure are all lined up. But it probably does help keep the resale value, for those who have different interests than you (they do exist, I've heard).
