Thanks to all your info I have finaly decided (probably) on a white 2010 prius.. Here in Mexico they only say the car is "white" none of that "blizzard pearl with sprinkles of summer in the moonlight of the house of vallhalla" marketing crap that goes in the american version of the toyota website. This has me confused, here in Mexico we only have one prius, it's called the prius premium and it's a 2010. we have, Red, White, Silver and Dark Grey. What white color is it the one I am more likely geting? blizzard white? blizzard pearl? banana milk? or just plain white!? this is driving me nuts
I'd suggest going to the local Toyota website and see if you can get more detail on the white color offered in your country, and/or get a brochure from the dealer.
Here in the uk we have pure white, which is a solid colour & pearl white, which is metallic and costs £610 GBP more. Check if you paid extra for the paint.
On the Toyota Mexico website, it describes the white color as "Blanco Perlado" (White Pearl), which I assume is the same color as Blizzard Pearl: Diseño 360 y Colores
Check out the website. If its a Blizzard Pearl or Pearl White then it is the same as the US. If its called Super White or something like that, then its just a plain white without flakes in it.
Yeah now it seems they updated it because before it said just white. the technical specs sheet says white as well, which confused me. Thanks!
Here's a list of Toyota color names and codes. Note that some names vary by country, but the 3 character code for a particular color is always the same. Automotivetouchup.com Touch Up Paint, Aerosol Spray Paint and Paint Touch Up Accessories Models For 2010, the flavors of white are Super White, Iceberg, Polar White, and Blizzard Pearl.
