Just wanted to get this topic re-started ASAP ... here is some data I had saved from other posts and sources, along with some photos I saved (next post): 2006 Exterior/Interior Colors: • Super White (040) G/B • Classic Silver Metallic (1F7) G/G • Magnetic Grey (1G3) available w/04/2006 production G/G • Black (202) G/B • Barcelona Red Metallic (3R3) G/B • Driftwood Pearl (4S2) B/B • Silver Pine Mica (6U0) G/B • Seaside Pearl (8S2) G/B The G or B indicate the interior colors (Gray or Beige) that will be available for either the cloth or leather. G/B means Grey or Beige is available for both, G/G is Grey only for both, B/B is Beige only for both.
This is great stuff. Thanks a lot TCA. I get the impression from browsing other posts that pricing info for the 06's is not out yet? I'm looking forward to seeing that as well.
I think while uploading the 17th photo, it was inturrupted. Maybe you could upload it again? TIA ~MT77
Odd, that was actually #4 duplicated (and interrupted) ... I deleted it. The original 17 are still there, and appear to be good.
Moved this thread to the main forum because for some reason when you add attachments to the News forum it messes up the portal page. Sorry about that!
Thanks, TCA. I needed those. bruce, we're ALL waiting for the release of pricing. You'll probably see it here first.
Is the color in these pictures the Silver Pine Mica? I am trying to determine how "green" the Silver Pine Mica is now that Tidewater is gone. Also, any idea how the Barcelona Red compares to the Salsa Red? Thanks,
I read that 2006 pricing might be coming out this week There were some previous posts with color chips for the new colors. IIRC, the Barcelona was a bit brighter than the salsa, with a bit of a gold metallic look.
Well, this KINDA applies to this posting... It happened - the dealership called me last Friday, and my silver '05 package had arrived... I took the plunge and passed on it - told them I wanted to be the first guy in OC driving a "classic" silver '06 package 8... he said that it'll probably be in the November 5 allocation, and that I'll probably see it around November 21st... Fingers are crossed... BTW, I'm sure one of the 38 people on the list after me were happy to get my car - I hope she goes to a good home... now I'm #1 on the list for an '06... One more thing - I'm under a STRONG impression that tire pressure monitors are also standard on the '06, yet I didn't see them in TCA's post.. just thought I'd bring it up.
Can't say I would pass on the $2100 tax credit difference by not waiting an extra 5 weeks till January but I am very happy for you. 'Grats!
Yes, this is the Silver Pine Mica. Not quite as ugly as I thought it would be, but still not a favorite of mine.
Great point Kiloran, but i'm so close to the AMT already, It probably won't help Plus, I'm hoping to sneak my '06 in on the Carpool lane deal, if you know what I mean ;-). We'll see!

Except for the leather and new colors, does anyone know if there's really any difference between '05 and '06?
It was on another forum, where someone indicated that's what their dealer told them. It also meshes with what the dealer told me when I ordered mine last week, that they were expecting prices in 1 - 2 weeks. Flimsy, I know, but still more than we're hearing from Toyota on this one!
I believe there are tire pressure monitors in the 2006. Also, the front grill of the 2006 has changed slighty. Some has wagered a guess that it's now crome, but other only think it's painted plastic. Either way, the front grill looks a little different.
