AM Radio Does Not work

    The AM radio does not work. I hear background noise but it does not pick up stations. I know that I am in an area to pick up am radio. The FM works fine. any suggestins?

    What year is your Prius? It may be a failed AM signal amplifier located in the roof near the antenna. I had to have mine replaced under warranty on my 04.

    It might be your antenna signal receiver problem, replace it with new one or check it once.
