Today I saw a cream colored Prius, never saw one before and can't find it on the Toyota web site. Is this a new color or an old Gen ll color, I personally don't like it but it did not too bad not something I would buy. Maybe it's a repaint, could not get a picture as it was driving buy, if I see it again I will try to get a picture.
I've never seen that color offered by Toyota for a Prius, so it may have been a custom paint job. I've also not seen them sell a TAXI YELLOW car, yet there are many Yellow 2010 Prii in Chicago, as they are also custom paints.
Well two colours come to mind - Driftwood Pearl and Sandy Beach Metallic. My guess is that you saw Sandy Beach Metallic (assuming it was not a custom paint job) because Driftwood Pearl is a richer, more goldish colour, while SBM is, well like light-coloured sand.
No this was much more on the yellow side than light coloured sand. My guess is it was a custom repaint, but why such a color I don't know.
its probably a repaint. i have seen several colors on the gen 2 including a bright yellow, several different shades of blue, etc. most of the gen 2 colors were considered to be "pastels" at least according to one co-worker who decided against a Prius and bought a Hyundai instead because none of the colors appealed to her enough.
