Hello everyone, just go a 2008 Prius. I should have done this Hybrid thing sooner. I love the gas mileage, low cost at the gas station, and maintenance. Only thing I don't like is the paint (chipping from driving on the freeway) and the alignment. Guess I'll do the Clearbra soon. As for the alignment, I'll do a search again on this forum.
Don't procrastinate on the clear bra. If your hood and front bumper cover are relatively chip free now then hurry up and protect it!!! My hood and bumper cover look terrible while the rest of the car looks amazing for 115,000 miles. It is so bad I don't even like to wash the front end.
As a 2008 owner (got it right at the peak of $4 gasoline) I'm almost afraid to ask what you paid for yours.
That was the first mod I did (well, I did two mods as soon as I got it), the clear bra. Definitely worth it! I still get the odd chip on the edge of the hood where the bra didn't wrap around, but that's no sweat.
Swanny - We offer the customer the option of wrapping - this would be on the hood, fenders and bumpers. I would say 90% opt for wrapping. Looks cleaner, reduces edges and prevents the edge chip you got.
