Sounds nice. Mid-50s here, partly cloudy with high winds. Cool for this time of year... but so far our summer has been a little below normal.
64 here today. Our unusually warm winter was followed by an unusually cold spring, and the latest 'first 75 degree' day ever, by two whole weeks, June 23. And so far our only warm day of the year. Summer here seemingly has a tradition of starting July 5. This year it starts tomorrow (Tuesday), with temperatures rising to near 90 for Wednesday and the rest of the week.
Temperature here yesterday was 91 degrees but with low humidity. Expecting to warm up during the week with a heat wave starting in the northeast and making its way down to us.
Sunday/Monday were mid-90s F. Today through Thursday expected to be similar. Friday--slight cooling and maybe thundershowers before dropping to mid-80s F over the weekend.
Probably somewhere in the 60's, overcast and raining most of the day. But that's the boundary waters for ya! I'd rather be rainy and wet in a canoe than dry, warm, and bored at home!
Hmm, on the 3rd, we were at a concert at the beach, where it was a balmy 50F, with a stiff wind off the water *brrrrrrr* The 4th, I think it was up to 55F. Today, it is in the 70sF
These 105F days are killing me. At half a tank I'm down to 58.2mpg indicated and I pulled the bottom grill's insulation.
Fan is on 1 or 2 bars with AC. Won't ever drive with the windows down again. Learned that lesson the hard way on the last rally.
Today, it didn't get above 65F here... Marine stratus arrived really fast (we usually call it a thermal inversion), and nothing but cold breeze from the beach.
Around 30C today, depending on how close to the water you were. The temperature can vary considerably with an ocean breeze. The forecast for where we'll be tomorrow is 36C (about 97F), with 38C along the way(an even 100F). I think I may have to see if the air conditioner still works.
Record cool temps around here the past week. But looks like the rest of the world is more than making up for it. I'll enjoy it while it lasts - August is usually the hot month.
had rain from a low pressure area sitting off the coast in the Gulf, but not it's back to the normal...."hot, humid, high in the mid 90's".
Cold, below freezing in the morning and not much above during the day. Frost on the grass in the hills.
Warm enough for comfy, cool enough to not sweat, windy enough for a perfect sail. Just got back from Jersey and was miserable the whole trip...95/95. Here on the left coast the climate suits my clothes. Jersey was beautiful (the garden state) but I've put in my dues and will never move back to that kinda climate. I love Texas and Texans, but could never live there due to temp/humidity.
rain just moved in, first time in weeks. temp dropped from 90 to 70 in 20 minutes. farmers everywhere (around here) are breathing a sigh of relief.
