front wheel bearing replaced

    just had my driver's side front wheel bearing replaced at 65K. Just wondered if this was a common problem - I haven't seen any mention of it on-line.

    That sounds awfully young. Did it ever have a mishap? One big pothole, or too many little ones?

    so how did you know it was time? we had a very odd noise last week where it sounded like metal rubbing on my driver side tire and then it just stopped and all along i have wondered if something fell off or what happened

    my 08 has clanking noises in driver side front tire. im sure something is broken like a balljoin ot something. but because is still under warranty the dealer never hears or sees anything broken. so its just a magical metal clancking noise
