sorry, can't post url til i have 5 posts. search for heated seats on ebay for 69.99 product. What do you guys think? I have a frost katzkin ordered for my black prius (misty gray interior) and I am thinking of adding front heated seats. I am planning on taking my car to ShopARS in westbury NY, where they quoted $400 for installation. How much more would they charge for the heated seats? What is reasonable?
if they are already installing the katzkin, they shouldn't add that much to toss the heaters in. If $400 is for the new skin install with the heat, then I don't think that's a bad deal.
They are asking $400 for just the katzkin alone. Should I get the heated seats from ebay $140 for two and have the shop install for $50-100 more? I know they need to run the wires and install the buttons... Or I was thinking of getting the kit from the shop $300 and have them install it for free.
Buy the kit from the shop for $300 and have them install it... if something goes wrong, you just roll in and complain. The ebay seller? Good luck getting an answer after you post your initial positive feedback.
Yeah i think I will follow your advice. If I buy two from ebay and one of them dont work, I am screwed since the leathers are being installed at the same time, and I am forced to buy their HS anyways.
