I've been browsing the forums here gathering information for the last few weeks for a planned fall purchase. Instead of waiting until fall though, we just got home from picking up my Winter Gray 2010 Prius III. We were going to wait until September when we had money together for a nice down payment, but the lure of 0% for 60 months being offered in the Northwest region was too great, so we went and got it today. Nothing down, qualified for the 0% rate, got the 2 yr/25k service agreement included as well. Just a base Prius III (only floormats, no Nav or Solar), got it for ~500 under MSRP, so just a few hundred above invoice. Not quite the price we were originally hoping we'd get in Sept, but I figure the savings in interest should make up for it. Ended walking out of the F&I office with the same price as I walked in with, so I consider that a victory! 18 miles on the odo when I took it for the test drive, gotta love my first new car!!
Definitely couldn't pass that up. 0% financing for 60 months and a price almost at invoice is a big victory! Enjoy your new Prius! Congratulations.
Congratulations! I hope you enjoy your III (and the MPGs) as much as I have been enjoying mine - bought last month. Don't know how familiar you are with this site, but it's been a treasure trove of useful information for me as I get to know the car and all of its capabilities. Turns out, the driver (me) has gotten better along the way! Members have been great. Have fun, and welcome.
Loving it so far! First two days, drove about 150 miles total, mixture of Highway/City, averaging about 53.4 MPG according to the MFD. Getting used to P&G, although the cruise control isn't too bad for when I get a tired foot.
Good Luck. I got mine same color but A base Model II . Its been 6 weeks with my cool driving friend and 3750 miles later and everyday I am enjoying more. :welcome: I leased mine and i figure I am going to owe them money at end. I didnt realize how the whole family likes the car. We also have a 2009 Honda Pilot and a mint 2001 Acura Integra which I just gave my daughter. That car sticker price was 22.5 wild and that was 10 years ago Good luck and be safe Sushi
1st Prius, got the 3, have 2009 corolla (wanted Prius but the prices of gas drove the premium on Prius through roof and dried up availability) Got a 2010 Prius III with solar roof option. Got a great deal (GREAT DEAL) and got a 1,000 back plus the 2 year maintenance... Since I have wanted a Prius for so long I am like a little kid (not little and only a kid at heart). I have bought new cars before, but never spent as long choosing one. And unlike last time looking for Prius, plenty to choose from. Had to buy from another dealer.... but so happy i did...
