Well, I have paid for unit/organization polos (small quantity with logo) about $30. It just depends on how nice the design is, quality of fabric, etc.

I have an XL Prius T-Shirt that I was going to put on eBay. It's an oatmeal color; almost a recylced look to it. The print is all green, of course. The front says "Prius" and has an electrical plug with a circle w/slash through it. The back says, "Prius, How it works..." then describes the different power modes. 1. Startup, Electric motor only, 2. Driving, Motor & Engine, 3. Acceleration, Motor and engine (additional power drawn from batteries), 4. Deceleration, Battery charging engine, 5. Stopping, Engine automatically shuts off. It has a car symbol at the 5 different points, like it is driving up and over a hill. Maybe not the classy look you are after, but it does answer the questions people always ask.

Anyone interested?

We like (from Tadashi templates): A6, B8, C3, and D4
Also like "Got voltage!" and "Breathe Better Air!"
Ivory or cream (green wouldn't show the car very well)
Medium weight so it holds it's shape and doesn't shrink short and wide
Will probably order two - let us know when and how much.

Depending on what they look like, I'll take one. Also, check out Cafepress.com. They won't make you order a large amount, everyone can order their own through them.

I just joined priuschat, and i wanna prius t-shirt! Umm, since there is such a big difference in the body style between the 1st and 2nd generation prius, i would suggest not having an outline of the vehicle on the t-shirt, that way it would be suitable to owners of both types.

 

Time to breathe new life into the T-shirt quest!

HybridTeaRose (above) made a suggestion for a slogan, which I think is good but would like to amend:

"Decreasing U.S. oil dependence
one car at a time"

A previous poll showed ash to be the most favored color.

Another poster suggested not picturing the Gen 2 Prius---what about Gen 1 owners?

I'd suggest picturing BOTH---small---either facing each other or both facing in the same direction (but not facing away from each other).

There have been so many suggestions---"regular" Ts, women's sizes, scoop neck, polos, two-color, three-color, text on sleeve---I'd suggest doing plain ol' men's sizes, testing the "market" with those, then branching out if warranted. With 6 possible sizes (and always slightly higher costs for XL and larger), that's formidable enough a task to start.

Thoughts?

I'd like 1 in 2xl Ladies or 2xl mens - whatever is available!!
