Bridgestone Ecopia EP20 OEM Tire Discontinued

I didn't go through all 55 pages on which tires were on various people's cars, so if this is posted there, sorry for the duplication.

I asked Discount Tire to get a Bridgestone Ecopia EP20 for me to use as a full-time spare, as that's what came as OEM on my 2010.

After talking to Bridgestone, Discount told me the tire has been discontinued, and Bridgestone was recommending something or other as a replacement.

Discount is getting one shipped in from one of their stores which still had one in stock.

So, if for some reason you want one, you might want to go after it soon.

 

I picked up my new tire today, and had Discount Tire check with Bridgestone again ... this time, they were told they weren't discontinued but on a very long back-order status. Sorry if I gave incorrect info, but there apparently is some trouble in getting them if a chain as big as Discount Tire has to ship them from store to store to get them.
