I'm in Calif. but that's almost exactly what I paid ($200 more for the Blizzard Pearl).

Actually, I made a mistake. The figure from Kelly is $30,048. So you got a good deal.

I'm living in San Francisco Bay Area. With the understanding that we all pay different out-the-door price for Prius depending where one live, my simple question is how much I I should expect to pay for a Prius 2010
Model IV (4) with Navigation Package only. Nothing else. If possible, please post the out-the-door (everything included) price.

Also, what would be a good dealer for best value in bay area?

    Thanks in advance.

Got a new Silver Prius II with floor mats for $21,800 + tax and title two weeks ago at Fitzgerald in Maryland. I live in DC and had contacted a dozen dealers in MD and VA via email and visited one dealership in Alexandria where the sales manager did his "we can't sell at a loss, Sir" routine. I looked around the fancy showroom and observed that it didn't appear they had been losing money and left. You'll discover that after the "Internet specialists" fail to make the sale, you'll soon hear from the sales manager. I'd done my research (some on this forum) and settled on a price. Emailed him my offer, "$21,800 out the door + taxes and tags," with the color and mats included and he email backed 10 minutes later with an acceptance and the inventory number so I could look at the car on line before driving out to the dealership. Two other dealers also matched it and a couple of others came within a hundred dollars, so I wasn't out of line. The Fitzgerald price included $750 freight and the $99 Maryland dealer fee. I was eligible for the zero interest loan from Toyota and got two years of routine maintenance coupons. The dealer did OK - one more car they didn't have to pay interest on and insure against hail damage - and they got a several hundred dollar take-back from the manufacturer. Of course at signing they try to sell you on all sorts of ad-ons like rust proofing, wheel rim damage replacement insurance (complete with visual aid) and of course, the warranty extension. Said "no thanks" to it all and came away a happy camper. Hope this helps and good luck.

I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned Edmunds.com - it has tools which allow you to find out the "True Market Value" of new and used cars in your area. You can configure your car for the options you want (inc. color, which can increase/decrease desirability and price for a vehicle).

Armed with good information about what a fair price is, it gives you a good basis to negotiate for the best price from your local dealer.

Get a quote as much as you can from online before going to the dealer.
