I'm looking for a completely stock driver's side mirror replacement other than buying from the dealer. My mirrors (2007) are two piece: the black housing with the mirror assembly (heat, power, glass) and then a clip-on ABS plastic piece. The black assembly piece is $250 at the dealer, I already bought the white clip-on piece for $30 but the black assembly is cracked as well.

There are several replacement mirrors online but they don't appear to accommodate the clip-on white piece that I currently have. Again, in the 2007 year there's a color matched mirror cover (white in my case) and then the assembly itself (with glass, etc). Does anyone know a place where I can buy the assembly that is matched for the clip-on piece?

    Thanks.

Have you tried the salvaged (used part) community? Go to your local junkyard and ask.

I JUST did this last week. I backed my passenger side mirror into a pole and cracked the housing. Luckily, the painted cover just popped off but survived with only a few scratched.

I got a replacement heated mirror from rockauto.com. It was $80 with shipping. Replacement part I got was good, identical to the OEM part, came with a shiny black cover. Just just popped it off, put my gray one on, and its good as new.

As a warning, replacing the mirror is a bit of a pain because you need to open up the inside door panel to reach the connector socket.

I also bought a replacement mirror from RockAuto, but my trim piece fell off on the freeway (I had broken off one of the tabs when putting it back on). Where did you get the color piece for $30? From the dealer?

I have read quite a few reviews of non-OEM mirrors that said they vibrate (and thus get blurry) when driving at moderate speeds or bumps. That would bum be out a lot... do you find this to be the case with your mirror?
