I don't know what they are called but they cover the back tires, exactly like the old Insights. What are they called? Do they improve mpg, make mpg worse or make no difference at all? I really like the look and would like to possibly put some on if they don't make mpg worse. Sorry if this has been posted before but because I have no idea what they are called I couldn't do a search. Also where to buy that will ship to Canada would be helpful.
Wheel skirts I think. Here is one place that makes them for gen II. Don't know if they have them for gen III
I don't know what they are called, although I can say that they would need to produce a huge increase in mileage to convince me to put something that ugly on my Prius.
i can't point to any facts, but i believe they improve aerodynamics and thus, mpg. go for it!:cheer2:
The manufacturer of the Gen 2 fender skirts claimed .5 mpg improvement. A good wax job might get you that much.
Wheel Skirts have been around for a long time. They look good on the Gen II especially when the flush wheel covers are added to complete the look. I'd like the flush wheel cover painted to match, that would be something unique.
