HOV Stickers for sale CA

The stickers are tied to the VIN and are valid only on the Prius that you sold.

Not only worthless, but illegal to display on any other vehicle.

CVC 21655.9. ( c ) ( )1 A person shall not operate or own a vehicle displaying a decal, label, or other identifier, as described in Section 5205.5, if that decal, label, or identifier was not issued for that vehicle pursuant to Section 5205.5. A violation of this subdivision is a misdemeanor.

Misdemeanor CVC violations may be handled by the officer via citation (cite and release) or by a physical custody arrest, which may include towing and storing your Prius pursuant to 22651(h) CVC.

What do you do when the CHIPPIE asks you for your "HOV" registration card and the name, license plate, and or VIN number don't match your vehicle...

Yeah ... me too ... I want them too.... I'll just erase the numbers off it so the officer can' read them.

 

Are you kidding me? You'd have a better chance at getting away with them without scratching the numbers.

 

I want them too...Do they work in Maryland for HOV lane privileges? I have a feeling they'll be just as useless here as they are for someone in California. BTW, we don't have HOV stickers...it's a joke!
