I wanted to share my experience and learning with HID headlamp bulb replacements on my 06 Prius. I tried D4s bulbs purchased on ebay from hid_xenonwarehouse1818 and they work for about 2 minutes and then simultaneously go off. I tried OEM D4R bulbs purchased on ebay from stillenmaxima98 and so far they work fine. My first attemt to replace the headlamps involved taking the front bumper off. Took about 2 hours. My second attempt after studying the headlamp was not taking the bumper off and carefully following the instructions on Prius chat. I can now replace both headlamps in about 20 minutes. I've had the same experience from stillenmaxima98; It's been 2 months and 4 different bulbs and I still can't a pair working. I have to look else where I think.
