the ending was sad especially the way the show ended with Claire at a major crossroad in her life. i wanted so much for them to continue the story line even if it meant a spin off. but at the same time, long running series rarely end gracefully. if an end had to come, they did set it up well.

They let Jake drive it in the parking lot. - Family Guy - Brian drives a Prius - Desperate Housewives - The new Bolin family (current season) has a 2010 Prius. But in one of the episodes it made a VROOM sound to emphasize car startup. Obviously, that was a sound effect.
Well, they never use a microphone on set except for voices... all other sounds are added by the foley artist... we've all heard tires squeel on gravel on tv ... done by lousy foley artists... and motorcycle fans are always offended when 4 cycle sounds appear to come from a 2 cycle motorcycle engine.
Bones, May 6, 2010 episode "The Witch in the Wardrobe". Pretty sure this product placement was a paid mini add from Toyota. After leaving the crime scene, Hodgins and Angela were driving Silver Gen III Package 5 when he drifted out of his lane and the LKA alarm sounded. Then they showed the LKA display and Angela explains how the Prius helps you stay in your lane (I guess she must be the Prius owner or it was rented). Hodgins says lets try that again and swerves out of his lane. Then they get pulled over to be ask how much they have been driniking and spend the rest of the episode in jail.
