Ok maybe i dont get it jsut read the bently manual on weight suppose to be under 3000 lbd is there suppose to be that with a typical full car with passangers? 3795 GVWR remove 825 lbs max pass and cargo weight and you have 2970 lbs curb is the CURB -- suppose to be it with no peeps in it and that is the weight of car with everything in it.. u know engine and tranny and battery and everything else?
We drove through a truck scale once... our Prius, our stuff (light luggage), and us (two adults), and the scale said "3000"... we thought that was pretty normal.
Curb weight (just the car) listed in the technical specs (2006 new car features) is 2932 lbs. Gross Weight (fully loaded to max allowed) is 3795 lbs.

No, but it might mean that my memory is faulty... maybe it read 3500 :shrug: We're going down to Seaside, OR again this weekend. Maybe on the way home we'll pull through that scale again...
Okay, we went to Seaside, OR, went by that scale again, and checked our loaded weight... 3550 lbs. That's with two adults, our stuff, and whatever we picked up on our trip....
