I don't find many comments regarding sheepskin seat covers. Does anyone have experience with "Sideless" or "Cloud Nine"? Suggestions for color match of Gray interior? Thanks for any advice.
Can't give you any opinions on the brands you mentioned, but if you go to "Album" category, I have a photo there of our Aussie sheepskins which were custom-made and fitted here in OZ. Companies down here can offer around 10 shades of grey (and all other colours) to match any interior or do combinations of colours if you wanted a two-tone effect. If you can't find a sheepskin specialist wherever you are who could offer a custom-made service, I can get you a contact in Australia who may be interested in making a set (or sets, if others are interested) to order- they have the patterns, so it's not difficult- and sending them to you for fitment. If you have side airbags, the covers are made with intentionally weakened areas which allow the airbags to deploy as intended. Regards, Sleeka.
Tooth, I just ordered a front set of Sheepskin covers for 2005 Silver Prius from Colorado Sheepskin. I ordered the silver Custom-style seat cover (with side air-bag option) and matching headrest covers for under $300 delivered. They offer 3 levels of covers. Delivery will be this coming Wed. Silver seems to be best choice for seat color for Silver Prius, but you can see available color patches at their site. I have been looking a few weeks for sheepskin and they go to $600 a set including head rest covers. Here is link if you want to see for yourself: http://www.rmsheep.com/ Happy shopping, 1oakprius
I just received my Sheepskin seat and head rest covers from the New Zealand Australian Companies; website: http://www.misssideless.com/Products.html The covers are Very Well made, and comfortable. They are reinforced at the right places, and form fit the seats. They were relatively easy to install. The gray color matches the Prius gray interior perfectly. I am pleased with their outstanding product and service. Thanks to David for his assistance.
Tooth Yoda I bought the miss sidless seat covers because you liked them so well. I had one question on installation though--How did you attach the side straps? I don't see an easy way of doing it so I hope I can benefit from your experience. Thanks.
I thought that I had a problem also. However, everything really *does* hook together. You probably have figured it out by now. A small part of the outside strap shows. It is barely noticeable. Let me know at [email protected] if you still have a question.
