I was kind of surprised that my new 2010 Prius III did not come equipped with the retractable cargo cover, like my 2006 Prius III. This item is not listed on the Toyota web site. Why not? So far, I've only seen this on eBay. I also thought I saw this as standard equipment on the Toyota web site for the III. Any comments or suggestions welcome.
Mine did too. I think you should talk to customer service at the dealership where you purchased your Prius. They owe you a cargo cover.
Have you checked underneath the cargo floor?? I think that you can store the cargo cover underneath the floor somehow. Maybe the dealer put it underneath there??
Like everyone else said, it should have come with the car. I just purchased a level III and it did come with it.
I think you'll probably find it in the under floor storage area. Ours was stashed there at the factory, and our salesperson specifically pointed it out to us. Bo
Mine came without it and not in the under floor storage area. Anyone found it actually useful? I am thinking getting a cargo net.
Mine is placed in the storage area. Never found a use for it. Whoever buys my car used will wonder where the cargo cover is.
I have both. I store my laptop in the cargo net occasionally. The Tourneau cover keeps private from view from the outside. I have heard of people putting there smart phones in the charge net. When they are driving they can take hands free calls via Bluetooth but cannot text.
