I use the cup holder inside the center armrest console. I bought a set of the foam rubber storage area liners, and never hear any noise.

yep I put it in the cup holder as well. No foam inside but no noise from the coins.

There is a tray-like thing under the center armrest. I think you are supposed to use that, although I don't like the way the coins move around in there...

That tray and the cup holders are too noisy for me, and opening the armrest is inconvenient.

My change ends up under the center console. It is easy enough to dump it there, but it is inconvenient to access when you need the change.

I would like a cup of some sort that I could clip to the drivers side edge of the bin under the center console. That would be just about right.

Remember those plastic football shaped coin holders with the slit in one side? I'm looking for 2 of them: one for pennies and one for nickles, dimes and quarters. Then I will place them on the tray. My former console had a molded area designed for coins - very convenient. I also miss the center console light.

At Target in the automotive section I bought a stiff velvet pouch with a bendable strip of metal attached to the top. It's meant for just this purpose and costs about $4. You bend the metal strip so it fits over the plastic lip in the lower tray of the center console, which puts the pouch just in front of the seat, in easy reach but where you can't kick it. Holds lots of change and makes no noise.

Done the same as STREAM but JOLLY PAUL is right when writing "opening the armrest is inconvenient". I hate coins -LOL-

The pocket jingle would drown out the melodious sound of my silver spurs.

Walmart has a spring loaded barrel shaped cup. The springs hold quarters, nickels and dimes seperately and you open the cup for pennies. It's made by Bell. I put it in the cup holder put could easily drop it in the arrest storage if I needed both cupholders.

As one of my more loving high school teachers was wont to say..."There are no stupid questions, son. Only stupid answers."

Mine is to stick them in a plastic baggie in the center armrest cupholder, and unfailingly leave them there whenever I go in a store to buy something with cash, thereby ensuring that the coin mass grows. Eventually I'll have to migrate it to a sock, but it will be big enough to use in a pinch as a defensive weapon.

    Thanks for pointing this out!

While this seems like an excellent solution, I wonder
about its "price/performance" benefit. It looks like
it can hold a buck fifty worth of quarters, but it
    costs $15 with s&h.

I hide my change in the storage compartment below
the radio*. They are out of sight there, and with a
cover muffling any sound, I have yet to be disturbed
    by any coin jingling noise.

    *won't work on a 2010 of course.
