Quick - What's your MPG read right now?

2009 Prius, 51.4mpg on this tank so far.

 

2008 52.8. up from a few weeks ago, cooler temps and winter tires @ 44.1

 

This morning... 42.1mpg...

 

205 Miles - 61.8mpg (uk gallons!) As weather warms up, consumption improving too. Following the really useful thread on how best to drive the Prius, we saw over 62mpg average on a 100+ mile motorway journey last weekend with an average speed of 70 - 75 mph. Lovin' it!

 

2006 68.1 MFD w/110mi. I usually avg. low-mid 60's Spring-Fall w/ Falken 512 set @ 50/48. Spring rocks!
This winter was a real eye opener, used snow tires w/ a roof top box for the snow toys for the first time : low 40's mpg, OUCH! :0 The roof top box is like driving with a parachute!
It was a treat though having snows & the extra space inside w/ snow toys on the roof.

 

Wow mine says 31.4 mpg......I drive it very lightly, to and from school and work.....under 60mph, about an average 30 miles per day. What is the problem? I took the car into the dealer today to see what the problem might be.

 

Currently at 66.2mpg after 455 miles. Still too many cold days and too many miles on this tank to make much of an improvement.

Wow. How do you get such great mileage? I only drive around town. Hardly ever on the highway. Very flat here, so I don't get to coast down hills.

 

53.8 at the half tank level. Mixed in-town and some up/down county roads.

 

Last reset was September, dropped to 47.3 during the winter (NH, snow tires) and am now(17"45 series PS2's) at 50.5 about to go 50.6, will get to 52.7 then winter and back down to 47.3

412.4 miles @ 55.3 mpg probably 52 calculated

 

60.9 mpg at 293 miles

 

@273 miles on current tank, indicator shows 53.3 mpg. Actual measured average over 5000 miles 46.5 mpg. 80 miles round trip daily, back country roads cool temperatures in Central Washington.

 

I last took Mithril to his favorite watering hole about ten days ago and, since then, he's only been driven about 65 miles. So far this tank and according to the MFD, he's averaging 53.1 mpg. Usually, the MFD's mpg reading is no more than 5% higher than the hand-calculated mpg I get at each fill-up ... so he's probably no worse than 50.4 mpg at this point ...

 

228 miles and 53.1 so far on this tank! I average between 50 and 53 on a whole tank.

 

143.5 miles 50.5 miles mixed hwy/city driving.

 

44.1mpg on 3rd tank of gas without resetting <100mi.

 

4.2L/100k at 500km (Equiv to 56 MPG US at 310 Miles)
