The Prius has been such a phenomenal experience. I don't think I could go back to owning a regular car or even one of the more conventional looking or behaving hybrids simply because I'm used to the eccentric and smarter Prius way.

I want to buy a hybrid Sienna to replace the Grand Caravan we have now. It would be a nice match with my Prius.

Yes to a Prius-equivalent: reduced petroleum dependence, decent performance and high reliability at a reasonable price.

I could never again buy a car that idles at stoplights.

I will probably never give up the Prius as a commute car or around town for some shopping. But, I still feel the need of a 450+hp as I slip the clutch and push the gas. Yes it sucks gas and spits fumes, but its just for fun not my primary transport. Or it will be when it comes out in late 2006 - Ford Mustang [fade:72f99787d7]Shelby Cobra GT500[/fade:72f99787d7]. :evillaugh:

I owned a first generation Prius and now I have a 2nd gen. I agree with coloradospringsprius, I decided long ago that I don't want any car that idles at a stoplight. It's too soon to start thinking about a new car. 6 or 7 years down the road, I wonder what Toyota will have for us!?

    Yes*

*Assuming Toyotoa, or anyone else for that matter, doesn't put out a "better" one.

It's only going to get better down the road. Who can tell what the hybrid market might be like in the near future (that's also assuming a "hybrid market"). For all we know, (insert manufacturer here) could pull a 80mpg 250HP (insert model name here) out of its nice person in 2 or 3 years.

Let me clarify my 'Yes': unless another car comes along that will use available fuel more conservatively than a Prius while maintaining at least the same performance and feature level, I'll buy another Prius...

The poll numbers are jaw-dropping. Danny should forward the poll to J.D Power.

If I had the money I'd buy three '06s instead of just one. I'd store two of them until the 100K extended warranties expired on the first two.

If you don't like the Prius enough to buy one again or to even buy another Hybrid, why on earth are you subscribed to PriusChat and looking through the forums and what not? I thought I would see 0 for a "no" answer.

When one has a truely great experience, one likes to share. Same for a truely bad one, and even a Prius leads to those, too...

I'm actually torn between Yes and I will buy another hybrid. . . I love my prius, but i'd find it hard to not at least look into the Lexus GS hybrid if and when it comes out. . .

I think you answered your own question with those stats. :D

    Jack, you're retired/semi-retired right?
