I have a 2001 Prius whose triangle of death came on the other day. I took it in, they said the 12V battery needed replacing. (It had been replaced two years previously.) They replaced that then said I needed a new computer. They put in that, then said it needed a new trans-axle. My car is not worth the price of a new-trans-axle. I had no warning lights or signs of problems previous to this. How can all this stuff go out at once?
