I've never done it. There is a button on the message bar "insert image" (2 mountains with a yellow sky button) that will pull up a search window for your computer to browse a picture.
It is so simple .... in your "Reply to Thread" window, scroll down to the "Manage Attachments" box and select the .jpg files that you have of the car or whatever. Then select and upload them. If this 73-year old can do it, a budding young PhD student should be able to!
