XM radio module install (in this case Pioneer).

    Has anyone put in aftermarket sat radio - and if so, where did you put the thing??? I have an amp under one seat, and subwoofer under the other...

    The XM receiver goes in the trunk or under the rear seat. Then the antennae wire is snaked under the moldings and the antennae is placed on the roof of the car, near the regular radio antennae. Are you going to get the portable XM version or the one that interfaces with the existing radio?

    I have the mini XM module connected to my JVCNX7000. The mini is in the glove box and the antenna is on the dash.

    I got the module for the Pioneer - and it does not come with cable to run to the trunk area...[​IMG]
