Today was my all time best MPG since owning the car. I did 79.5 miles at 69.8 MPG. This was from a gas stop on the Ohio Turnpike to my driveway. Temp outside was 83 F and the AC was set to 74 F. It was 100% cruze control and my tires are 47 and 44 PSI.
Looks like you drove the last 1.5 miles to your house on EV mode to boost up the mpg. You will pay for it when you drive tomorrow.
When your tires are at 47/44 you can go alot further then 1.5 miles. I never use EV mode. You can do alot better in ECO mode.
The SOC on your battery is down to two bar, meaning you have been in EV mode in extended period or you have long hill climb.
Do you know why you battery state of charge is down to 2 bars? This might be a lot to ask, but how many bars (roughly) was it at after you left the gas station?
It seems to me that since the ugrade was done the use of the energy of the battery is more intense. Did anyone noticed that ?
nice going! i'm averaging 61 mpg this tank. the only time i top 70 mpg in my gen II is when i fill up and drice home one mile down hill.
Today I had more of a mix of highway and city. My average today was 61 MPG. This brought my total average on this tank to 63.4. Still not bad.
I am sure it was 100% or all but the one bar that is a differnt color. I have only had the extra bar show up twice.
My best interval so far is 89 miles on one gallon of gas (89 MPG). Average speed was over 56 MPH. I do have to thank a few truckers who helped with the aerodynamics for some of those miles!
