March 2010 Prius Lease Special

The deal is at Hollywood Toyota in so cal. I guess there aren't a ton of them with the solar roof/ navi/ leather so they aren't as willing to budge. I called again and that is still the best they will do and I have tier 1 excellent credit. $399/mo (total) $0 out the door no extra fees + first year free service. This is my first lease so I'm not sure what the cap cost is? I think this is a decent deal on a fully loaded IV unless someone else has gotten much better.

I will back up Diane's comments. I just drove up to Manhattan Beach Toyota after my local dealer changed the terms of the agreement. I emailed Diane and she replied back in under a minute and called right after that. Diane was knowledgeable, straight forward and professional. She offered a great deal backed up with great service. You cannot ask for more. Thanks Diane. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Don't waste your time asking another dealer / salesperson for a price match. Just contact Diane.

 

Some of us prefer to lease. We're intelligent adults and we have our reasons for making this choice.

I've been a lurker for some time, but felt I needed to make an account and try to get some advice on an offer I received from a dealer for a lease on a 2010 Package III Prius:

MSRP $24,397 (I forget the exact amount, but this is close)
$4200 in equity from my '05 Prius
$199 monthly payment (including tax and tag)
$1000 down

I understand that the info I provided is somewhat limited, but please feel free to ask me for more and I'll see if I have it available.

So you're paying $4,200 + $1,000 up front? Why would you put 20% down on a lease?

 

Picked up a winter grey Prius III w/matts and rear bumper applique from Richard Garcia at Marina del Rey Toyota on Saturday. Worked out a great deal over the phone (5 minutes), he picked me up (I'm in OC), roadtested, financed, and out the door. Couldn't be happier with the car or buying experience.

$595 at signing (registration & 1st), w/$231 per month all in! Found Richard's name from a prior post here on Priuschat. He followed up with me today via email. Recommend highly.
