I don't have to sell my car.

    I Lost my job right before Christmas last year. I was going to sell my car because i couldn't afford it. I kept holding onto it and now that I spent every dollar i have. I got a job offer and went today to do the paperwork and drug test.

    It's good i still have it, I will be driving almost 100 miles a day to get to and back from work.

    I just wanted to say I'm glad I still got my Prii and that i can still hang out here :)

    I work in construction, and i was not ably to get a new job. But the project manager that hired me over two years ago called and offered me a job. It's funny how the world is today, I'm happy to get a job and be offered the same pay as i made 8 years ago and be happy about it.

    Great news on the job.

    This is a perfect example on why a lease is bad. If he leased the car he would be in bad shape either way.

    If he did not find a job he would be stuck in a lease that he could not get out of.

    The new job has a 100 mile commute. The extra miles would more than double the cost of the lease.

    The worse part of the lease is giving the car back and having to buy/lease a new one ever 3 years. That is the biggest waste of money.
