You are probably going to have to contact a dealer or possibly an auto recycler for that. If you are going to part out your car, you can probably get more for the battery by selling on ebay. You may be able to find an auto recycling place to take the whole car if that is your plan.
If you found out, please let me know. As I have a batetry that needs recycicling, and many dealers won't take it. I called the number on the battery, and it is to the main customer experience center. After much effort, and many people telling me they don't know what to do, finally, someone said, take it up with the dealer as it is a dealer program. Some dealers said they'd be happy to take it, but that they keep the $200 Toyota gives them to offset their costs for the recycling. No one, it seams was willing to give anything of value to me in exchange. One dealer said they give scrapyards 150 for it, but they do not deal with retail customers. If anyone knows a way to get some money for its scrapvalue, please let me know. Thanks, joe
You might contact a battery refurb company like Remanufactured Hybrid Vehicle Battery Packs to see if they will give you something for it.
I want to second calling: Remanufactured Hybrid Vehicle Battery Packs They are especially interested in traction battery packs with the electronics. As for modules, it will be 'fair market value.' NOTE: I have no financial or business association. I just know they are good folks who are extending Prius service lives with refurbish battery packs. Bob Wilson
