GPS Map update for 2009...where is the best place to buy it?

    Hello, I am looking to buy a legal OEM 9.1 map update for my 08 Prius (I have version 7.1 now). I have seen copies on Ebay but I want the real thing....but I don't want to pay a fortune. The best I have seen (again, on Ebay) for an actual OEM DVD is $229.95. Is that the best price out there for these?

    When do we expect the 2010 version 10.1 to come out?

    Have you called around to different dealers? I'm sure you can do better than $229.95 from a dealer.

    I got my v9.1 on eBay for $50. It was worth the wait, as it works perfect.

    You will not get much of an upgrade from v7.1. You may just want to use what you have. I would not pay $100-$200 or more for an upgrade that will likely make very little difference.

    I've tried several 9.1 (gen 5) DVD's from Ebay and none of them have worked. I'm currently using 7.1 and I'd like to upgrade to 8.1 or 9.1. Who did you buy yours from?

    I'm looking to buy for less than the $200 my dealership wants.

    Does anyone recall the name of the contractor that provides the software to Toyota? I knew it at one point, and corresponded with them, but I cannot recall the name or the URL now.
