What changes will be on the 2011 prius?

I know of one change for sure.

The 10th digit of the VIN will change from A to B.

 

they should make it look even more like a little mini van.

 

In australia I took delivery last Friday 12th March. It had 17inch alloy wheels, sat nav, intelligent park assist, blue tooth etc. The colour was called stealth and looks really fabullous. The things it did NOT have were the moon roof, dynamic cruise control and leather interior

Is there no HUD display in the US model?
What about fog lights?
Two basics hear but a lot of other things are not available

 

NO HUD. Only the V has fog lights.

 

How about a larger plugin battery....

 

UK has HUD but no radar cruise, LKA system or LED lights...

 

What do you mean by "external turn signal indicators"?
What do the turn signal indicators look like now on the Prius 3??
(pics please if possible... )

 

Sorry for the confusion. Currently the U.S. models do not have turn indicator lights in the (external) outside mirrors. As I recall, the most common car here in the U.S. to have turn signal lights in the outside mirrors is Mercedes.

That's right, you have a choice for nine colors and long as you choose black.

 

If they fix the squeaks/rattles that will be a fine start. I hope to purchase the 2011 at the end of this year if improvements are made.

 

None in my car (8K miles), or in any of the 2 Prii I test drove before buying. I think some folks do have issues, but the majority don't.

I suspect that when you buy any car, you take your chances that squeeks, etc will happen.

 

Just hoping for one important addition: A PLUG!

 

I too am waiting for the 2011 revisions to fix the rattles and squeaks!

Does anybody know if there are any fixes for this, eg fixing the "flying bridge" console?

 

There was another thread pertaining to the subject, and the majority stated they had no problems .... and that is my situation. (G3, IV 9K miles)

Personally, I am suspicious that where the vehicle was assembled may be a factor. From a rather limited survey that followed, there was one assembly plant that seemed to have the majority of complaints.

Seriously-it's time for me to upgrade from the '04 salsa red-but I really don't like the 2010 colors. The dealer told me not to expect any new colors in second year of current gen. If I thought green was back-or a different red I might just wait until Fall. I see all of these posts are from 2009. Anyone out there have updated information on 2011 colors-or other changes?

There may be no change.... other than one after 201 instead of zero.

 

The 2011 Prius will not be coming out until October this year...

 

Just rented a 2010 Prius from the dealership while my 2004 Prius was in the shop for leaking water. Really loved the model, but didn't want to buy a Gen 3 right out the gate and prefer to wait until the 2011 models roll around.

Now that we are into May, has there been any significant news on this front?
