Hi this morning i attempted to stop the reverse beeping.(holding the trip button etc etc) However this does not work on the australian model.... The problem is after doing so i can unlock the doors with the remote but the car wont lock. Tried both remotes and batteries all work fine as the car will open just cant get it to lock.. any help would be appreciated,
Usually, when the car refuses to lock it is due to one or more of the following reasons: 1. A Smart fob is left in the car. 2. A door or the hatch is open. 3. The Prius was left in some operating mode besides IG-OFF.
How do I enable that beep so that when I try to lock my car and a door or the hatch is not fully shut, the car beeps. The more noises my car makes, the better!!!!Yesterday I went to lock my door on my 2008 Toyota Prius and it would not lock. I almost had a heart attack. It wasn't until I moved my car for my dad to get his car out of the garage and I saw the "door Opened" light illuminated on my dashboard that I realized a door was opened. How do I make it beep if a door is opened when I try to lock it and a door is partially or fully opened?
The "can't lock" beep is standard on most Gen II Prius. What package do you have? Does it have SKS? Tom
