Trees Sueing Toyota

Sherwood Forest (JNN) - Trees are banding together to bring a classs action suit against Toyota. "We've had it!" a Poplar spokestree said. "Toyotas are plowing into us with little provocation! It's not like we can run away or anything!" Two Post Oaks uttered their agreement. A member of Treehuggers Against Toyota is said to be acting as the go-between for the forest and their legal council. "The trees are getting a bum rap in this!" Treehugger Moonglow Hollywood said. "Toyota will have to pay, and pay well!"

When asked about the tree that fell on two Prius in Boulder, Colorado last year, the Poplar replied "It was self defense! Those Prius were driving beside that Maple, and the Maple was in fear of his life! Colorado has a Make My Day law - the Maple was just defending himself!" When it was noted the Prius were showing no signs of being agressive toward the tree, a Post Oak uttered "and now they never will!"

Authorities fear an escellation of this conflict, and warn Toyota drivers to avoid tree-lined streets. "We know there have been deaths from falling trees in the East this winter," officer Pigg noted. "We can't be sure these weren't cases of murder!" Police continue to investigate all tree-related incidents.

I tell ya, it's a conspiracy--and They aren't waiting for the poor Prius to be alone on the street. No. Saturday there was a home invasion in my neighborhood and the Tree attacked the neighbor's Prius while it was sitting right in the garage. At first I was just afraid to drive it now I'm also afraid to be indoors with it. This mental anguish is keeping me up at night and I can no longer perform my job. I'm going to have to take the county bus to the Social Security office so I can file my claim & call those disability lawyers that advertize on late night tv. They seem like such nice, helpful people.
