I have a 2008 Prius (package 4, I believe -- nav system, leather seats). Just got a new bluetooth phone (basic Verizon LG), tried to register the phone (went through the drill a dozen times: info/telephone/settings/bluetooth/register/passkey/input passkey into phone): no sign of life from the system (no "connection successful" no "connection failed"). Process worked with my old PDA phone. Any ideas? Sure makes me cranky when I follow the directions and seems so simple and..........Help!
Wish I could help but I have a 2010. My only comment is that my wife has a Verizon LG phone and it works fine with my Nav. Do not know the differences between the 08 and 10.
