This is the Toyota kit part# 0016-47115 light bamboo it comes ready to install!! 3M tape is on the back side just peel and stick!! I warmed my car up so it was warm inside. it took about 20 mins to do. the pieces have rounded edges and the fit is great, It looks factory !! I am more than happy with it.I think it would go good with black or gray interior also??
my car is sandy beach over bisque leather PKG V It really gives it a premium look!!

    Good times,
    Scott

looks like bird's eye maple. anyway, I think it fits a bisque interior very well. it won't match well with Dark Grey or Misty Grey. For those, you'd want something darker (I'm actually thinking black bird's eye maple for Dark Grey and maybe Burl Wood or Dark Cherry for Misty Grey)

Im impressed. Those photos look great. Did you remove each part before applying the applique or did you do it with the part in place?

Very Nice!!!! I plan to install my kit when it gets a tad warmer.
It is a nice subtle added touch!

    Nice! So I have three questions;
Is it real (looks real anyway)?
My interior is lt grey, is that the only wood tone available?
How much was it if you don't mind me asking?

    Thanks,
    Scott

This the best dash kit for Prius I have seen so far. I do saw Sherwood and couple of other ones (BD, etc) and frankly I was not impressed at all since Prius dash is quite tricky for its curvy shape.
For example, power window section is either one piece covering only flat area or two pieces for flat and smal curvy end section for all after market ones. This one comes in one piece covering entire area, indeed OEM look. I do agree with someone here that dark bird eye burlwood or maple one will look great and that is my favorite color as well.
I wish we have more color options but still this is hand down best kit we can get for the time being.
I guess I will order grey one for myself and hope it will work well with my grey interior.

I have to admit, it looks nice in the pics. I would not have imagined that as most kits I have seen were tacky and cheap looking. I do like the center console most, the door controls do not do as much for me.

How about a pointer to the source? I'd like to explore issues of other colors, durability, UV resistance, etc.

Very very nice! I'm really not a wood person but that particular shade is quite elegant looking. I prefer the carbon graphic type applique. You did an EXCELLENT job of installing it. If I did it, it would appear as if it was done by a third grader. Working with my hands is not something I'm good at.

Does anyone have dark grey wood dash kit installed? If so, can you post some pictures? I have a dark grey interior but not sure which one to get!

    Ordered light bamboo this morning.

Scott: I read the pdf instruction file. May have a couple of questions for you before I install. Yours looks great!

It looks really good! The best gen3 trim I have seen.

I see a seperate 3M adhesive under the woodtrim piece. Does it make a gap (raised) above the OEM surface?

It is not like the Sherwood woodtrim, it has adhesive under the entire piece. They are the only manufacturer (claimed) to use real wood. Just FYI when you make decision.

As I imagined, that light bamboo doesn't work in the Misty Grey thumbnail! (although oddly enough, when you click to zoom, it shows a Bisque interior lol)

The dark grey wood looks good (too bad there's no zoomed picture) but Dark Grey looks pretty light in that pic. Maybe it's because of the flash?

lol. I do not know if I will. I miss the woodtrim in our Camry but I'm thinking maybe more CF-effect for my Prius (esp. since it's the dark grey interior.)

Yes,PM me I will try to help!!I'm not much for instructions, gets me in trouble sometimes!! Be careful around the lock and unlock buttons on the doors.
also the heater control temp up and down.. and.. fan up and down so they don't stick on the edge!! I think that is why they say to spray it with water first so you can take it off after its stuck if you have too!!check the button function before you fully press it down!!
I like the contrast in colors,
I think it go's well with the black and the bisque.I Would like to see a close up of the gray wood it looks to much like the black plastic!!
To each his own I guess. Good luck with your install!!

If I am not mistaken Toyota also offers a carbon fiber look kit. That would work for the people that have the gray interiors.

I saw this kit myself. Again we have several non-flat surfaces and the borderline between pieces looked not that good.
I would go with OEM kit but it is just me.
