That was a blast from the high gas price past. Many pundits are predicting that prices will return to those levels some time in 2011.

It's creeping up over here too :(

Just passed a place a couple days ago selling at £1.19 a litre (3.7 litres in a US gallon) which works out at £4.36 or $6.58.

That's high even for over here. So glad I got my Prius when I did :)

Yup. maybe 20 bucks a tank for me. For some reason I never seem to buy more than 6 or maybe 7 gallons. bladder must be smaller in my car?

Well oil is around $81 a barrel now and a Goldman Sacks analyst suggested just this week that oil will most likely hit $92 to $97 a barrel by mid summer this year. So we are going to see an increase of about $0.45 to $0.55 a gallon over the next 3 or 4 months.

Of course this assumes there are no political nightmares popping up during that time, terrorist events or other issues and we could see even higher prices and spikes become common place again.

You filled up with $15? Awww that hurts.

    That's like £10 here.

    I fill mine up with about £35-£38 ($53-$57) :(
