Who has personally, actually received revised OCI notice and maintenance schedule?

there's a reason the 30k is more pricey... more services are involved, and by skipping the 30k you'd be neglecting the add-ons; to save on the 30k I'd recommend you could specify no oil change (since it'll be taken care of at 25 and 35) and no replacement of engine or cabin air filter either (they'll charge you 1/2 hr for labor, cheaper to DIY: dealers often give discounts on replacement parts that may not be taken into account in the price for the 30k)

 

I did in yesterday's mail. No no recall phone call, email, or in the mail yet. You think the recall notice will come?

 

Well, I'm not in the Rocky Mts but I received my re-call notice and the new OCI notification in the mail yesterday. I live on the west coast.

 

Got mine on Monday. I will still do my change at 5000 with Mobil 1.

 

I did not wait for the "recall notice" , I just scheduled a service, and they performed the recall service. My car reached 5 months, and I was going to ask them to do the first regular oil service, and they said "No, you have low mileage, put on more miles first".

Also when I bought the car, I was contemplating getting the prepaid maintenance coupon (every 6 months, bring up for service). I don't drive much, why should I pay all up front ?

BUt anyway, with this new warranty book/revised notice, then
whoever bought that prepaid maintenance must be at a loss?

Now, if toyota will have a every 1 year or 10K miles pre paid maintenance, then I think about that later.

Got mine 3/1/10 in San Diego Ca. Nice new Maintenance booklet specifically noting the OCI change in bold type on the front cover

I am in Seattle and I received the revised maintenance book and the officical notice that the oil change interval is now 10,000 miles. All this just 75 miles after I did my first 5,000 mile oil change!

Mine came today too.

No written recall notice. But my salesperson called three weeks ago, and I had it done a week later.

 

Got mine today along with the recall notice.

 

Got mine just now along with a new Warranty/Maintenance booklet. No recall info yet except my dealer's e-mail saying I'll get information "soon". I'm in no rush though; can't repro.
