USB and Safety Connect Are Almost Here!

I read the whole thread here and did a bunch of searching, so I really hope these aren't duplicate questions, so here goes:

1 - Does this interface play AAC encoded files with iTunes DRM (i.e. songs bought from the iTunes store)?

2 - If you stream over BlueTooth does it display the song name etc on the car's display?

1. Yes, it plays all music from your iPod...as long as the interface doesn't lock up which seems to happen 65% of the time

2. I'll have to check this, I've never used the bluetooth streaming. Will try it this week.

 

Thanks for the quick response. The interface locking up doesn't sound like a good thing. Oh well, at least it has aux in...

 

If you are asking does it play AAC from a USB memory stick the answer is no. I have to convert mine to MP3 before I copy to the USB drive. The BT only shows a play/pause, no other info.
