Got mine today. "Check installation of driver's floor mat" every 5,000 miles made me laugh.

Where's the coupon for those of us who had our first oil change at 5,000 miles?

Yo.. got one in the mail around march 5.
    (we had a good laugh.)

I'll probly bring it in for the 5k change regardless because that has already been prepaid for... and it will expire in like 4 years... use it or lose it.

Oh well. Better that way anyway because I'll take it in at 15k, 25k, etc. and avoid the more pricey 30k interval maintenance service.

I already had my 5000 done before the change. Actually I would have had one done at 5000 anyway. I'm a bit leery of leaving original oil in a new engine for 10,000 miles.

I'll betcha they tell you that the plan will adjust to follow the official revised OCI for the remainder of your plan. Is it worded in a way as to say all manufacturers recommended services, or does it spell out every 5,000 miles? I think it would be more likely to follow OCI schedule then print intervals, but I could be wrong.

Oh, and we got our revised OCI and updated information this last week as well. I chuckled that the reminder will still go off at 5k intervals.

Still no sign of anything from Toyota but the pony express hasn't been here yet today.

Nice Land Rover, I had one of those for a couple of years, same color. Mine was a 1963 version, it had a removable hard top that went clear back to the tail gate. Had a lot of fun with it, seemed virtually indestructible. There was a place in Redding, CA that had all the parts and accessories you could wish for.

Got mine yesterday. Funny that every maintenance interval starts off with, "Check the floor mats!".

Received the OCI change notice in today's mail along with a new Prius 2010 Warranty and Maintenance Guide reflecting the new 10,000 mile interval.

Also received the ABS Actuator ECU update safety recall notice today. Already done.

We received the new maintenance schedule today, March 8, 2010. It still recommends you bring in your Prius for service at 5K miles or 6 months; the oil change interval is now 1 year vs. the previous 6 month interval. So you still gotta take it in to have the other stuff checked.

It's OK to do it yourself, the warranty allows for that. You are required to keep records showing VIN number, date, mileage, and what was done. I do my own but only rotate tires once every 10K miles because I don't care about the tire warranty and 10K is often enough, some people don't rotate them at all.

I record my DIY maintenance on Toyota Owners Online | Official Toyota Owners Website and save receipts for oil and filters.

The OCI letter & maintenance booklet were delivered today along the recall notice for the brakes. I want to take this opportunity to thank Toyota for helping the USPS by mailing all this stuff.
