<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(galaxee\";p=\"110061)</div> Well, even though the tinting seems to help keep the inside temperature in the car lower when parked, we are still losing a couple of mpg in the same heat you are experiencing. We use the windshield heat shield as well when parked in the sun, but even when we take the car out of the garage, you can tell the AC is taking its toll.
Several weeks ago after the latest heavy rains we got up to +35 C (Around 95 F), and the humidity was 70% and higher, so it felt like +45 C (Around 115 F). I've been in St George, UT, and Mesquite, NV, in summer when it was 115 in the shade, but with humidity 0-10%. Trust me on this: 115 in the shade in Mesquite, NV, feels COOLER than 95 in the shade with 70% humidity here! I can't stand that kind of humidity.
