Had ours updated Monday on the 22nd, we haven't had any problems but did the fix anyway as I have a worrisome mom. Waited for nearly 3 1/2 hours even with an appointment, but being one of the busiest Toyota dealers in the Sacramento area, there were many Camry's, Corolla's etc that had higher priority over mine. We have an appointment for our Camry Hybrid on 3/11, they told us they have to reshape the floor and reshape the pedal...

We had the brake update done this morning. Was at the shop about 30 minutes. I coudn't feel any change in the brakes on my way home. The place was busy, maybe doing recall's. Only saw 2 couples looking at new cars. They had a great selection available. Look like they will be ready for some type of promotion to move some inventory.

I'm writing this while I wait to have the software flashed. They want $50 to make the backup beep go away. We are not amused.

Got my letter. Will ask the dealer to do it when I take it in.

I had the AOB REFLASH ABS CONTROL ECU. Took about a half hour to reprogram the ABS system software to improve opertaion on bumpy surfaces. Since I have had no experience with ABS engaging on bumpy surfaces, I can't comment on effect.

At the seme time they checked to make sure my floormats are properly secured. :)

Had it done last Thursday. An hour in and out with a free car wash and a couple oil change coupons. Brakes seem more responsive. I think it still does that transition from regenerative braking to regular braking thing in the right circumstances, but now much, much briefer. So brief that it isn't really a concern.

I had the software update done today. I notice no difference in the "feel" of the brake pedal.

I arrived on time for my 11:15 appointment; left at 12:39!!! I suggested the 15 minute job took a long time--was told "not to believe everything you read." This was not the dealership from which I bought the car. You don't suppose that makes a difference do you?!?!

Had the re-flash done this past Monday. While driving to the dealership in Stamford, CT... I felt the problem after hitting a pothole. I have felt the problem 3 different times since owning the car. Let's hope that the new software smooths out the interaction from regenerative to abs to friction braking.

So far, i have not experienced the problem again, but it's too early to say green light on the problem being fixed

Lots of people are reporting that it is about a one hour job. Mine took that long and they told me it would. Of course they washed the car as well in that time. Doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

Mine took about an hour and a bit but included an oil change (8,000km).

Under my normal braking routine, I couldn't tell the difference. However, under really really light braking, there is a difference, yes. Subtle but it's there. (took the liberty of trying different braking techniques prior to taking the car in since I'm one of those that haven't experienced the slip/ABS issue on the 2010. I have on the 2005, but not yet in the 2010).

Thank you all for the reports. I have not felt any brake issues, and hesitated even getting the "flash." OTOH, there could be some insurance issues if you had an accident and had not gotten the fix ... needed or not.

I have not received a notice in the mail ...... and it seems that many of you have not either. What is the story there?
