Figured I'd finally join & share my prius with other prii owners. Not the most popular model but original none the less & imo a true gem in the prius underworld. So heres the whip, I recently aquired this free, yup makes it even better free 2001 Aqua Ice Opalescent with 39k original miles. Original battery was replaced under warranty & all 5k mile service records w reciepts from toyota of el cajon, ca. Has lo-jack, runs perfect & this first month of driving it with already 3 road trips down has actually been pretty fun. Car easily runs with the mpg gauge sitting between the 50-100 mark 80% of the drive time, during acceleration sits around the 25-35 mark. Currently car is waiting on getting some tint & I also have some japanese window visors & floor mats being shipped over that will be going on it. Having be this prius is my 2nd car I've ever owned here is my original project that im still working on. A 1990 Honda CRX HF, rated at 50mpg back in 1990 so good mpg comes naturally to me.

You hit the nail on the head. Car is great but I'm a little disappointed on the aftermarket for this gen. All the cool parts I either gotta fab something up or get it imported from japan, which isnt a problem just means its gonna take longer to get parts.

Couple ideas so far potentially include the behrman kit but I would really love to source some oem fogs & mudflaps. So if **ANYONE** has some or knows where to get them please let me know.
